| I have been a linguist during my early years,
an educator in my 20s, 30s and 40s, and a writer and an entrepreneur in my
40s and 50s. I believe that in life, personal commitment to goals
brings achievement, and willingness to expose our feelings brings us closer
to love. Neither is easy, but the rewards are many. . . My fifth-grade teacher always reminded us to be proud of being human with all emotions: fear, sadness, anger, love and laughter. We are born with the freedom to experience them all. Soras Corporation stands for innovative and creative ways of expressing and sharing life's experiences. In 1999, I lost my mother to a sudden and traumatic death. It has taken me two years to create and produce a bereavement kit which, I hope, will help those who are facing new grief, whether it is brought on by death or some other causes. I have since become certified in "thanatology" (psychology of death and dying), and I have simplified the main points of thanatology for easy reading in the book, From Grief to Memories. I wanted to create and offer a bereavement gift that I would have appreciated when I felt lonely and lost. It is a kit full of tools to overcome our grief. I hope you will send one to a friend. If you have thoughts you would like to share with me or with others, please use "Contact Soras" or "Inspiration." Kei Gilbert
