| The word "sora" means "the sky" in Japanese. The corporation is named after the sky's immense, unlimited resources for creativity. The sky is the canvas on which the clouds and stars perform not only to entertain us but also to soothe and inspire us. | |
Soras Corporation invites creativity and communication in all aspects of life and promotes cultural understandings among all of us. We offer innovative ways of learning and passing on information. We encourage you to share the tools that enable us to learn from our sorrow and hardships. Let us inspire and be inspired. Please use this site to communicate your thoughts. The sky is dynamic as clouds shift through various speeds and intensity levels. No two days are identical. Our life, too, is ever changing, as we react to new challenges and gifts that come our way. As we are looking at the sky right now, many souls are being born, and others are leaving. Some of us are crying. Some are laughing or are joyful. All under this same roof, we are experiencing different scenes from our one-act play called life. Why is "Soras" plural? As we view the sky from different places in the world, we call it by different words. When the French call it "le ciel," we, the English speakers, may sense that their sky is different from ours. Yet, underneath its façade, they are the same sky. Somehow, we allow language differences to inhibit us from sharing what the sky provides us -- drama, solace, and inspiration.
